Double Trouble Blues Sessions is Australia's premier blues event 'Showcasing National Icons Unearthing National Treasures'. Featuring iconic headliners such as Geoff Achison, Ian Collard, Jimi Hocking, Ezra Lee, Liam Kealy, Aaron Pollock, Willie J, Steve Sedegreen, Women In Blues Alumni and Green Graduates. Hosted by Australian seasoned musicians from Kaliopi & The Blues Messengers and Code Blues X-Press (Hammond Combo). Refurbishing and delivering events and mini- festivals at iconic Melbourne and Regional Venues including The St Andrews Hotel, The Central Club Richmond, George Lane St Kilda, The Leady Bandroom and The Palais-Hepburn Springs.

Since the inaugural production to a full refurbished production at St Andrew's with the support of the whole Blues Community, Double Trouble Blues Sessions is proud to have built a reputation of quality artistic curation and production, inclusiveness and diversity as we approach our 3rd anniversary this July 24.

Our productions offer three primary formats. A double header; a mini-festival; or the original format showcasing an Australian Icon by opening with their intimate solo or duo, followed with the host support set often featuring Australia's elite seasoned musicians, before concluding with an all in supergroup jam.

Double Trouble Blues Sessions presents international Bebop pianist Ezra Lee & his Boogie Woogie band plus Greek-Australian Blues Woman Kaliopi & the Blues Messengers performing favourites from each group before their closing supergroup collaboration set showcasing essential piano clarinet and guitar shuffle rumba and jump arrangements to dance off the events. Saturday, June 8 George Lane from 3pm, St Kilda; and Saturday, July 13 from 7pm, Daylesford.
